The Project involves the development, design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of a new Civil and Probate Courthouse for Miami-Dade County. This new facility will provide space and services related to Civil and Probate Divisions of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, the Clerk of Courts and other related court partners and agencies. The Project shall include the following facilities:

• 46 finished jury courtrooms and shell space for an additional 4 jury courtrooms; and

• a Parking Area with secure parking for 59 vehicles

• Multi-story

• Approximately 607,00 sf total, including 581,000 sf of Courtrooms and support spaces plus 26,000 sf of parking

• Scope includes foundations, structural reinforced concrete shell; aluminum & glass, masonry and precast concrete exterior cladding; interior tenant work including finishes, furniture and equipment; elevators, electrical, mechanical, fire protection and tow voltage systems; and site work with utilities.

The design is expected to be completed early in 2020, for ground breaking soon thereafter. The entire duration of the construction and design is 4 (Four) years. The Project is subject to Miami-Dade County Responsible Wages, local labor and disadvantaged business utilization goals, and other Miami-Dade County requirements.
